Neon Drift Circuit: how to stop losing on the corners

Neon Drift Circuit lives and dies on its drift mechanic, and most people — me included — spend the first hour drifting badly. The instinct is to slide as much as possible. That's wrong. Long, lazy drifts scrub your speed and cost you the straight afterward.

The trick is short, controlled slides that snap straight the moment you clear the apex. Tap the brake to initiate, ease off, and get back on the throttle early. Done right, you exit corners faster than you entered them.

Ditch tilt controls if you're on them. I swapped to on-screen buttons and instantly got more consistent — tilt is fine for lazy cruising but useless when you need precise corner timing.

Tuning matters more than the car you pick. A vehicle that dominates the coastal track will wash out on the tight city circuit. Spend a few minutes adjusting grip before you commit to a race, especially on the later tracks.

Once it clicks, this game is genuinely thrilling. I kept re-running circuits I'd already beaten just to nail a cleaner line. That's the sign of a racer worth your time.
