Tideborn Command
Tideborn Command asks you to run a small navy, and the clever part is that combat is often the least of your problems. Supply lines, fuel, and storms will sink you faster than any enemy if you stop paying attention. My first campaign fell apart not from a lost battle but because I stranded half my fleet with no way home.
The interface took me a couple of hours to trust, but once it clicked I appreciated how much information it packs onto a phone screen without feeling cramped. You can pause and issue orders, which makes the harder scenarios fair rather than frantic.
It's a slower game than the store screenshots suggest, and that's a compliment. If you like plans that unfold over long sessions, it rewards patience. If you want instant action, look elsewhere.
