Greenhaven Acres

Greenhaven Acres is a comfort game. You plant crops, tidy up a run-down farm, and slowly turn a sleepy village into something worth visiting. There's no timer breathing down your neck, and the game is happy for you to log in for two minutes or two hours.

What I liked most is how the town's needs evolve — early on it's all about basic crops, but later you're balancing shops, festivals, and villager requests. It never gets overwhelming, but there's always one more little goal dangling in front of you.

It leans a bit heavy on waiting for things to grow, and I found myself wishing for a speed-up option more than once. Even so, as a wind-down game before bed it's near perfect.
